When I posted the previous page I posed the question: What is Space Mall 13 based on?
After lots of brilliant guesses, I can confirm that Roland submitted a correct guess. It is the inner workings of a toilet!

, I have to try and fix mine a few times, I almost didn’t guess that cause I didn’t know if the inner workings of toilets were the same here as they are over there. (hey, you never know) and BTW, talk about a shapely robot, Rosie from the Jetsons should have that upgrade.
I guess toilets are toilets wherever you go. Unless you go to one of those countries where it is just a hole in the ground. In which case I will use that as the template for a black hole rather than a space staion!

As the resident tinkerer in the family, I should have seen it right off. But some innards can vary in amazing ways. I have had to fix more toilet guts than someone who has no plumbing training should have to do. At least there are the quick-fix kits sold in the big box stores to make me look like a savant.
I must confess I am no expert in plumbing! My first attempt at drawing the mall was very generic-looking, so I decided to use, as a reference, something mechanical-looking but out of context. I think I’ll use the same technique next time I need to draw a space-station or spaceship.
Some things are better not to know. It could be a hoax after all

I doubt knowing about the bomb threat would have deterred our heroes from their shopping destiny!
The biggest threat to their shopping destiny seems to be my ability to get the next page up! After a few delays I can report I am now working on it and normal service should resume from Monday.
