A group of cadets are put through their paces by a Russian cosmonaut, but thanks to Vitamin Water, no challenge is too great.

A new trailer for Doctor Who was released today. The next series will be the first outing for the eleventh Doctor (Matt Smith) and is the first to be produced by Steven Moffat. The Doctor’s latest spacegirl companion is Amy Pond played by Karen Gillan. Yaay!

I found this retro advert on YouTube feature a snowglobe full of spacegirls! Thanks to Lady Clairol there’s “a whole new speed of blondes”! I love the surprised expressions on the men’s faces. In fairness, three space girls have just descended from the sky in a plastic bubble. Surprise is kind of inevitable!

As you may have noticed, the Girls in Space blog loves nothing more than to share interesting spacegirl news and videos. So Imagine my surprise when my missus Tiffany was watching Got to Dance on Sky TV and one of the all-girl dance groups did a routine all about spacegirls! Unfortunately Unity Youth didn’t go through to the next round of the show, but they certainly got my vote! A valiant effort.
