Voom indeed! There’s no going back now!
I really enjoyed drawing this page, although it was quite challenging to figure out a layout that allowed me to have the bus overlapping other panels. I had to read it through a few times to make sure the ‘flow’ worked. It’s quite a busy page but hopefully the flow steers you through the panels in a sensible order.
There’s only three more pages in this story, and I’m about half way through drawing up the next story at the time of writing (in fact I’m exactly half way). I took some time last week and this week to flesh out some ideas for future stories and I’ve come up with a couple of twisted tales that I’m very excited about sharing. I just wish I could post pages every day! Ah, a fellow can dream…!

They’ve gone plaid!
To the plaidmobile!
Remembers me to spaceballs. They also had extra boosters beyond a back hatch.
It’s true. Unfortunately there aren’t many other options for booster placement!
Red’s bus is in good company with Kitt from Knightrider, the Japanese car from the Cannonball Run, Bond’s Aston Martin (in The Living Daylights). You gotta love a booster-endowed vehicle!
Not to go off topic, yet stay on topic, but the other day while I was out running errands, I saw this lime green VW van that looks like the one in this strip… instantly thought of “Girls In Space”. You may have the PERFECT prop for subliminally keeping your comic in ones mind!
Phase 1: Every time you see a VW Bus, you think of Girls in Space
Phase 2: Every time you see a girl, you think of Girls in Space.
Sounds like Phase 1 is complete!
I don’t think hippo woman was really planning on using that wardrobe very much…
Haha! You’re right. She certainly doesn’t have a lot left!
I love the “If you kill me I will sue you” line. But, unless the world of Girls in Space works in mysterious ways, she’ll have a hard time making true on that threat
I believe a determined enough lawyer could do it!
…and blast off!!!! but to where?
