Sorry the banter has been a tad quiet of late. A dog ate my blog posts!
Hope you are enjoying Push the Button so far. This story, like The Prototype before it, is very much a scene-setter, explaining how two girls ended up flying around space in a VW Bus and how a space girl ended up stranded on Earth. Push the Button moves the plot forward and establishes the devices for setting up all the future stories. I mention this now because although page 20 is the one being posted today, as of this moment I just completed work on page 34, the final page of this story. Air punch! The next 34-page story will be an entirely self-contained story where I don’t need to spend time establishing the context of the story, I can just get straight into it, and -oh boy – am I excited about it!
I wanted to mention that Wednesday’s Star Trek review will be the last one I post for a wee while. It is a convenient breaking point as it will complete the first season of Star Trek reviews, but fear not, review fans, they will return next year once I have watched some more episodes! In the meantime, Girls in Space continues uninterrupted and I may even dig out a few more goodies to fill the void!
