As the ’3 weeks later” caption suggests, things have moved on a bit.  The story now gives us a chance to see the characters both on Earth and in space settling into their new lives.

I love silent panels. What better way to set up a joke. sometimes it is hard to get the pacing down because we work with still images.

I thought it needed a little pause to ramp up the tension after Zoe’s outburst.

I used to use ‘the silent panel technique’ all the time, in fact I completely overused it. Before long I was trying to squeeze the silent panel into every strip, then in between every panel and soon, my strips consisted of *only* silent panels! That’s when I went cold turkey and stopped. That is, until *this* page! Looks like I need to hit the ol’ silent panel rehab again!

This reply started out serious, how did it end up so silly?!

Hahaha, I like the pause in the 2nd to last panel. Nice ;)
