Today’s page refers to two earlier pages (page 10 and page 13) whereby the girls refer to men they meet manbots. This was the only clue leading to the revelation in page 28 about there being no men in the Universe. Zoe and Faye assumed that all the males they met were actually man-shaped robots rather than real men.
I’m very excited about the next few pages of the story. As I’ve mentioned in earlier posts, each Girls in Space story will be 34 pages long, so we’re getting close to the conclusion of the first tale. Stand by for action!
I was recently interviewed by Andy Bailey for his website: The Comic Blog Kit. Andy’s site follows his journey starting up a webcomic from complete scratch, charting his progress as a brand new cartoonist and sharing his opinions of comic-related products and online services. He asked me a few questions about my experiences as a webcartoonist and posted a page of Girls in Space. The interview can be read in full over at The Comic Blog Kit website.

uh oh!
Uh-oh indeed!
a man who throws gadgets. To girls!??? OMG, asking for trouble!
Haha – I’m sure the girls would blame the thrower!
but now the question is, who is it aimed at! : O
I hope it hits me – I could lose a few pounds!
Who is it aimed at -IS- the question of the moment indeedy-do! o.O
At least now that the Protoype has no charges left, they could get it up on eBay, maybe get a few quid for it!
Cool stuff, read up to here, good story so far, very flaky enemies. Funny that males are so valuable. Looking forward to more!
Thanks Steve. Yes, for this first story I wanted to have two groups of enemies (the Casino owning Banks brothers and the Bounty Hunter / Henchbot) who, basically, cancel each other out and pretty much resolve the story without the main characters intervening! It means that when they are faced with the second story and greater challenges, they are completely untested.
Sounds cool, always good to have some comic relief.
Oh no! Last shot!!!!
