Page 1 takes us straight into the action with an asteroid belt, a distress call and some very purple-looking space. I tried making space black and, yes, it looked more realistic, but a lot less funky!

I, for one, fully support a more psychedelic colour palette for space!
Looks like a great start for your new venture, it looks like something adults and kids can enjoy. Can’t wait to see what happens next (I can see 2 silhouettes within the ship’s cockpit in Panel 1).
Here’s to hoping to a long-lasting comic! (something I always fail at…
)
Thanks speearr – very much appreciated. I’m really enjoying drawing this comic – much more than previous comics I’ve had in the past so I hope it goes for a long time to come! I have a story planned out and I’m really looking forward to telling it.
Well done in getting your Girls In Space comic up and running, James! I look forward to reading of the girls’ adventures over the coming months!…
Thanks very much Annette. I hope you enjoy the story.
Ooooo! It has begun! Can’t wait to see the adventures of Girls in Space
I too like the purple space
Thanks Gary – much appreciated. I hope it turns out ok!
o.O …. ooooohhhh, awesome! Did you tweet about this, how’d I miss it?!? I need a linky graphic for my site bud for this new strip! =)
Thanks mate. As soon as I have some graphics, I will send one your way. I’ve not tweeted about it yet because it is so new but once I get a month or two’s worth of pages up, I’ll start promoting it more heavily.
I like the art work!
Thanks mate – I really appreciate it!
